Join Our Team at DCFS: Administrative Program Specialist B
This position is located within the Administrative, Training, and Safety Services section of the Division of Management and Finance. This position is responsible for the accountability and integrity of DCFS non-contractual procurements, the LaCarte Purchasing Card program and the Corporate Travel Card/Controlled Bill Account (CBA).

Examples of duties
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:- Conducts internal procurement compliance reviews by collecting and analyzing data to determine deficient controls, illegal, unethical or improper purchases and extravagance.
- Checks the accuracy of the required reports reflecting expenditure transactions.
- Develops and generates reports through Bank of America's database software (Works).
- Ensures that official, accurate internal records are on file and well maintained in the event DCFS Internal or Legislative Auditors need to review them.
- Works with DCFS internal and DOA/OST Auditors during annual audits to provide information requested in regards to this required certification.
- May conduct or participate in special projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
