We are a team that builds automated applications to help the travel agencies to ease their life by configuring those repetitive tasks in our solutions to use the known-how of the people that work there to gather more business opportunities.

Summary of the role:

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer who will be responsible for building and maintaining solutions for our customers which bring value and competitive advantage for our applications. You will build, develop and test web applications in order to deliver solutions according to customer’s expectations and needs. You will draw up technical documents and implement potential improvements

In this role you’ll:

• Work autonomously within defined processes and procedures or methodologies, take standard decisions and may support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature.
• Receive instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles or manager, with regular monitoring on the status of the assignments.
• Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own area contributes to the busi-ness. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.
• Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and con-sequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.
• Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.
• You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration
• Supports and develops junior engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.

Analyze specifications:

• Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) soft-ware solutions.

Design systems and code:

• Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies. • Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for valida-tion. • Develop software according to Amadeus standards. • Model, design and implement databases.
