Job Description

Lead the design and implementation of new concepts and features for our control software while maintaining the existing code base.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test and document software solutions for specific feature requests in both embedded real-time software as well as desktop applications.
• Troubleshoot customer problems and provide solutions to systems in the field.
• Maintain existing tools and processes for automated build and test of controller software.
• Design and implement software solutions that balance strategic and tactical requirements and needs.
• Actively participate in the software development process to help the team succeed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience; 7+ years preferred
• Background and experience with signal processing algorithms and real time software
  • Experience with real time operating systems
  • Demonstrated success as a member of highly technical software teams that deliver high-quality and on-time software products
  • Solid working knowledge of C/C++
  • Hands-on system experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
