Technical Support Specialist I (Crawfordsville,IN)

Job Summary

Support the Digital Focus Factory (DFF) processes and equipment through troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure its correct operation and improve its performance. Provide level 1 support with new DFF implementations. Follow-up on recurring problems in the teams until the root cause is found and the solution is reached.

 

This position is an onsite position, located in Crawfordsville, IN.
 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Ensure traceability system availability and functionality (30%)
• Provide root cause analysis and systematic solutions-actions to problems in traceability system (25%)
• Support new implementations of DFF processes (20%)
• Level 1 technical support for production teams for DFF issues (25%)

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

• 2 years' experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience supporting traceability systems
• Able to manage priorities of multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in teams
• Excellent problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting, and negotiating skills
• Experience on manufacturing assembly cells and test processes
• Sense of urgency
• Ease of adapting to changes 
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Organized continuous improvement mindset
• Computer Skills: basic knowledge of computer hardware, proficiency in operating systems and familiarity with productivity software such as Microsoft office  

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years' experience
• Associate's Degree or Technical Degree or equivalent
• Bilingual - Spanish

Physical Requirements

• Medium work
