Role Title: Senior PMO Analyst, Staff & Business Tribe

 

 

Location: Central Park, Leopardstown/ Hybrid Working

We are looking for passionate Senior PMO Analysts who enjoy working collaboratively across squads to ensure the successful delivery of projects/programmes.

 

As a Senior PMO Analyst, you will be supporting our Agile Product Owners by ensuring our large-scale projects/programmes are delivered successfully on time, within budget and in line with AIB methodologies. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from our professional Changemakers where you can further enhance your PMO skillset whilst also developing project management capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

 

  • Support the development and on-going maintenance of an overall project/programme plan and roadmap.
  • Track and update project change requests, issues, risks, and dependencies, engaging with stakeholders to ensure actions are completed and current project status is accurately reflected.
  • Co-ordinate internal and external communication to relevant stakeholders to enable efficient two-way flow of information within and outside the project team.
  • Document project progress for key stakeholders – including risks, dependencies, costs, and benefits. Provide updates on key project metrics to enable overall AIB project reporting to senior management and the Leadership Team.
  • Execute project financial activities.
  • Day to day support of Agile Product Owners, Tribe Leaders or Portfolio Manager
  • May manage other PMOs depending on size and scale of project.

 

Minimum Criteria: Please note that the following criteria form the basis of your answers on the application form.

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a PMO Role 
  • Involvement in a Change project or programme is preferred but not required.
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills, both internally & externally to suppliers and / or industry forums
  • Relevant professional qualification in Project Management preferred but not required (e.g., PMP, Prince 2)

  • Project Management - Plans, organises and manages resources, finances, risks and activities to achieve specified outcomes that meet agreed timeframes, maximise results, achieve desired performance and uphold quality standards. • Assist in the development of project plans and prioritises tasks to achieve project milestones • Identifies resources required to support projects • Monitors progress to meet project milestones, timelines, specifications, and requirements.

 

  • Collaboration: Works with colleagues across the Project, Business, IT and Finance, including Project Leadership. Proficient in PMO practices and in process of developing wider Project, IT and/or Business expertise.

 

  • Negotiation & Influence - Engages in discussion to reach an agreement and create outcomes, affecting the action, behaviours, or opinions of others. • Persuades others by supporting ideas with logical arguments/data and builds support to resolve issues and achieve the most favourable outcome for the company • Offers alternatives and suggestions to address areas of differences, arranging agreements that create maximum value and sustainability for all parties • Calculates the costs and benefits of not reaching an agr
