WCG Label Lead Person

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position is responsible for the management of the printed labels, label inspections and supervision of label room employees.
• Responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of the inspection equipment
• Training and development of employees
• Development of label room processes
• Management of label inventories and accuracy

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to perform and complete duties in target time
• Must be able to work overtime as required
• Must be able to distinguish colors
• Follow company policies on cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures
• Must have strong communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and others within the organization
• Bi-lingual preferred, but not required
• Detail oriented and organized

• Ability to work independently and work in a timely manner with multiple projects

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• The Label Lead spends most of the time on the Production Floor. The production floor includes exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations and risk of injury from working around moving equipment
• Employees are required to wear proper PPE including safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection, as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more when required.
• Ability to bend frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to move around the machine.
• Good color perception.
