As our Accounting Specialist, you’ll bring meticulous precision and a methodical mindset to our finance operations. You’ll be the guardian of accuracy, ensuring our numbers sing in harmony with German accounting standards. You’re an independent, detail-obsessed professional with a sharp analytical mind—someone who can find serenity in spreadsheets and satisfaction in clean balance sheets. 

What you’ll be doing

Manage general and analytical accounting according to German standards (and Belgian ones when needed).

Handle invoicing, expense reports, and admin follow-up tied to our awesome events.

Support monthly and yearly closings with Swiss-watch precision.

Coordinate with local teams in Paris and Brussels, while staying closely connected to our German-speaking stakeholders. Teamwork makes the accounting dream work.

Stay on top of administrative processes and regulatory standards, ensuring full compliance with German accounting rules (and Belgian ones when needed).

Must haves

(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)

2+ years of accounting experience

Native or near-native fluency in German & English

In-depth knowledge of German accounting standards

Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Based in Germany, France or Belgium with a valid work permit as we do not sponsor visa

Nice to haves

• Proficiency in French
• Knowledge of Belgian accounting standards
• Experience in the event industry
