An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrator - 12month FTC
Key Responsibilities
The role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Oversight of firm bank reconciliation on a daily basis
- Ensuring these are completed within the required regulatory timeframes
- Reporting any issues arising to department lead / Client Asset Oversight
- Reporting of all open/aged reconciliations to management
- Ensuring timely processing and follow up of queries by all settlement related teams
- Point of contact with all internal / external auditors and regulators related to firm accounts
- Assist in the development and monitoring of management information and control reporting mechanisms
- Provide support to wider finance teams in Treasury and Accounts Payable as needed
- Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role
Requirements
- Experience in the financial services sector; Reconciliations, Treasury or Accounts Payable preferable.
- Sound experience in reconciliations
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confidence in dealing with peers and other teams.
- Problem solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Experience of successfully working to tight deadlines
- HoA record of providing excellent customer service
- Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
- Highly motivated and progressive with constant desire to improve efficiency
