Why you want to work for our Agile & LPM Delivery team:

The Senior Scrum Master role will bring Scaled Agile expertise to Accruent’s most complex applications. As a leader in Agile best practices, you will work directly with Engineering and Product teams to assist in overall program/project planning, risk mitigation, and effective communication to facilitate the delivery of top development priorities!

This is a remote work opportunity reporting directly to the Manager, Agile & LPM Delivery and will be located in either: Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Minneapolis, New Orleans.

How you'll make a difference:

• Serve as a Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer for 2 to 4 scrum teams across 1 or more complex applications.
• Facilitate the ART Scrum of Scrums.
• Guide and coach the scrum team and organization on how to use Scaled Agile / Scrum practices.
• Assist in overall program/project planning and ensure cross-team dependencies are well-understood and modeled in project plans and timelines.
• Identify, document, and publish risks and issues related to the overall program and to define resolution paths where required.
• Resolve cross-team impediments and blocking issues.
• Schedule and conduct meetings and ceremonies in accordance with standard methodologies for Agile/Scaled Agile software development.
• Facilitate SAFe Retrospectives which generate new insights for steadfast improvement.
• Maintain relevant metrics that guide the development team to more efficient processes.
• Develop and maintain clear and effective information communication between the development team, the Product Owner, and partners.

What you bring to the table:

• 4+ yrs experience as a Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4 years experience on the job)
• Ability to build and mature team collaboration, commitment towards achieving ART and sprint objectives and hold the team needs above everything else.
• Experience coaching teams through various stages of maturity, with the goal of improving team performance and productivity.
• Experience encouraging team ownership and accountability, self-organization, and empowerment.
• Active participant in the local scrum chapters to share and learn new Scaled Agile concepts.
• Experience leading a community of practice sharing Agile and Scaled Agile best practices and implementing ideas for improvement.
• Ability to train and mentor associate scrum masters and scrum masters to achieve higher levels of maturity.

• This job does not require travel domestically or internationally, 
• This is a full-time, exempt opportunity. 
• Relocation will not be considered for this position.

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $180,100. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of the compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
