Job Summary
Provides routine administrative support to the Business and Information Technologies Division.
Job Duties:
Reporting to the Dean of Business and Information Technologies, this position prepares reports, minutes of meetings, files and prepares correspondence as required. Participates in the development of office procedures and methods. Maintains appointment schedules, makes meeting arrangements, and prepares itineraries for the Business and Information Technologies Division. Tracks division budget. Collects and compiles data for reports. Orders supplies, equipment, and maintains expenditure totals. Prepares adjunct instructor contracts and faculty overloads. Work with students, faculty, staff and guests to coordinate scheduling KATI facility usage, addressing building maintenance, Information Technology and security concerns. Other issues as needed to facilitate building utilization. Works closely with Dean, Assistant to the Dean and Program Coordinators to implement the schedule of classes and maintain room schedules. Coordinate schedule changes with students, faculty, and the office of the Provost. Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree and one-year related work experience or equivalent. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; possess excellent customer service, as well as strong written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience handling confidential information and possess a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills. Must be detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and ability to work independently or as a member of a highly-functioning team. This position requires a high level of professionalism and initiative, as well as the ability to meet deadlines, to work under pressure, and to adjust to changing priorities.
