Our internship program will provide students with exposure to various facets of business operations, foster talent development and potential future employment opportunities.
The Business Professional Recruiting Intern provides hands-on administrative and operational support within the Business Professional Recruiting department at Jackson Walker. This role offers exposure to professional services operations within a large law firm environment and supports day-to-day activities, projects, and initiatives while developing foundational professional skills.

Internship Dates: June 1st, 2026 - July 24th, 2026
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with daily departmental operations, projects, and administrative tasks.
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports or presentations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and observations.
- Collaborate with team members on short-term and ongoing assignments.
- Attend firm orientation and departmental overview sessions.
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality of firm, client, and personnel information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school senior, current college student, or post-graduate student (within two years of graduation).
- Coursework in Business, Finance, Operations, Communications, Technology, or a related field preferred, or demonstrated interest in professional services or law firm operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and professionalism.
WORK CONDITIONS:
This position operates in a professional office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or temperature variations. Standard work hours may vary by department need and may require up to 37.5 hours per week.
