You will join our Operations department based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in the position of:
Senior Operations & Supply Chain Development Analyst
About the Role:
As our new Senior Operations and Supply Development Analyst you will be tasked with supporting tasks for the Operations department and will act as the ‘right hand’ towards the Senior Director Operations. You will play a key role in providing the right insights (reporting), data analytics and continuous improvement for the Operations Department.
In close collaboration with the Operational Department (S&OP, Logistics and Sales Support), regional departments and global stakeholders, this position ensures timely execution of the management reporting, data analysis, and market developments in the Ops area.
What You Will Do:
- Build, review and update the yearly Operations budget templates in cooperation with the Finance and Operations department.
- Monthly analysis and review of operations spend and initiate and coordinate actions accordingly.
- Create and distribute the monthly Operations management reporting (for example monthly Ops dashboard).
- Create, maintain and review the monthly Operations KPI’s.
- Coordinate and build the 5 years Operations Strategy plan.
- Develop and maintain Operations milestones reports.
- Updating and maintaining the open actions from the OLT team (Operations Leadership Team).
- Developing Qlik sense reporting, maintaining the existing reports and manage the ops data in Qlik sense.
- Creating and maintaining Ops overviews on Microsoft Teams.
- Creating new operations sustainability initiatives and reporting the operations sustainability performance.
- Manage the different processes in Ops. Defining ops processes, document and maintain them.
- Engineering & data analytics (for example review of future warehouse capacity planning).
- Responsible for looking into new market developments for new Ops developments and investigating if they are interesting for Harman EMEA ops. (for example, RFID, block chain etc.).
- Manage the continuous improvements within Ops, constantly look for ways to improve our way of working.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in of Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to operate independently.
- Affinity with digital applications and willingness to explore/ adopt new applications.
- Deeply experienced in working cross regional and globally with a diverse, multi-cultural team.
- Positive, energetic, can-do attitude, self-starter, accountable and takes ownership.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal), other European languages an advantage.
