At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. <h2>Job Overview</h2> <p>Define and implement a sourcing strategy to achieve purchasing objectives in terms of quality, productivity and time.</p> <h2>Responsibilities: </h2> <p>•    Responsible for defining supplier strategy and classification (grow/fix/exit/develop) for the assigned suppliers and commodities - with strong cooperation with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain Man-agement.<br/> •     Responsible to screen the market to identify suppliers and demands for the future and to identify development partners under guidance.<br/> •     Leads quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers, including review of financial, quality, and delivery performance targets.<br/> •     Drives cost reductions through annual negotiations to meet annual budget objective using all TE recognized productivity LEVERS<br/> •     Responsible to develop saving plans for the assigned suppliers and commodities to reach the saving target.<br/> •     Ensures compliance with the global sourcing process and policies for all activities under responsi-bility<br/> •     Accountable for SAP data maintenance and necessary adjustments<br/> •     Responsible to align required capacities with suppliers including end of life strategy.<br/> •     Responsible to negotiate contracts with suppliers and resolve any discrepancies<br/> •     Ensure constant accuracy in regular monthly KPI reporting.<br/> •     Responsible to work on process improvements and to update or create the required the required documentation.<br/>  </p> <h2>What your background should look like:</h2> <p>•    Finished University studies  <br/> •    At least 5 years of experience in the automotive sector and min. 3 years experience in procurement/buyer/purchasing role<br/> •    Highly motivated individual with excellent problem solving skills, good inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to multi-task<br/> •    Familiarity with regional and global supplier base<br/> •    Ability to work in a multi-cultural team<br/> •    Experience with SAP<br/> •    Business fluent communication skills in English (German is a big advantage)<br/> •    Openness to travel to Germany (up to 50% of time)<br/>  </p> <h2>Competencies</h2> Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
