The Senior Analyst, Regulatory Affairs (“Senior Analyst”) will support McKesson’s Controlled Substances Monitoring Program (CSMP) by contributing to a team responsible for the review and resolution processes associated with regular data analyses of McKesson’s pharmacy customer segments. The Senior Analyst will report directly to McKesson’s Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs, and is expected to provide data expertise and generate high-quality due diligence documentation in accordance with CSMP policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Senior Manager and department leadership in the analysis of relevant customer ordering data metrics and review of/interaction with relevant customers.
Meet established deliverables with an ability to work on narrow timelines.
Review CSMP reports, analytics, and other data that aid with the identification and direction of customer due diligence workstreams and promote awareness of customer and geographical trends.
Drive one’s own performance and productivity and ensure the efficient and timely completion of assigned workload.
Support other data-related CSMP workstreams as needed.
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Critical Skills
A minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in controlled substance compliance, pharmacy practice, or diversion or health care law enforcement.
Experience in regulatory compliance roles, particularly in the area of controlled substance compliance, pharmacy practice, and/or diversion or health care law enforcement.
Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing initiatives and efficiently re-prioritize such responsibilities, as may be required in a changing business environment.
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Sound judgment and decision-making, which are supportable and appropriate given the available information.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact collaboratively and productively at all levels of the organization and with external parties such as pharmacists and other pharmacy personnel.
Strong analytical and organizational skills as well as problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to travel domestically up to 15%.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Specific knowledge of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) and equivalent/related state requirements.
Demonstrated proficiency with standard technologies (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) and a keen interest in emerging technologies (e.g. ChatApp, Co-Pilot), coupled with a proactive approach to learning and integrating new digital tools.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
This position works remotely from home and requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer.
This role will require travel up to 15%.
