Services Consultant with French

<h2>Overview</h2> <p></p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking our new french-speaking <strong>Services Consultant </strong> to join the Axway team!</p> <p> </p> <p>You will be part of our <strong>Professional Services team,</strong> configuring and implementing specific cases using Axway products for our final established customers. This is a hands-on position that requires good problem solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p>We are searching for a  new bilingual colleague with a passion for technology and a burning desire to learn. Being resourceful, highly organized and independent will make you a perfect fit for our team.</p> <p> </p> <p>You will be part of our Installation and Migration Services team,  helping our customers to deploy our products on-premise or on cloud, guiding them during the migration process to newer versions, configuring and implementing specific architecture cases.</p> <p>This is a hands-on position that requires good problem solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team. For the position, you will be exposed to technologies &amp; standards used mostly in the Accounting &amp; Banking industries and you should be willing to work on a variety of tasks:</p> <p> </p> <p>• Assisting our customers to deploy Axway solutions remotely</p> <p>• Understanding, interpreting &amp; implementing functional and technical specifications written in French or English</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshooting problems with new or existing deployments/solutions</li> <li>Analyzing existing implementations and following/designing procedures to reach a new target specification</li> <li>Design solutions/workarounds to solve edge cases or problems with Axway Products</li> <li>Communicating with and assisting customers via conference call or on-site</li> <li>Documenting the undertaken activities</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p> </p> <p>Must have: </p> <p>• BS or Masters degree in Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent</p> <p>• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems (basic commands, basic differences)</p> <p>• Basic knowledge of database concepts (understanding database design, creating/modifying tables, views, users, writing basic queries)</p> <p>• Basic Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc)</p> <p>• Understanding of client-server software architecture</p> <p>• Experience with deployments and troubleshooting Functional and Technical Web applications</p> <p>• Ability to work in virtual hybrid teams (across multiple countries) ;</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Nice to have:</p> <p>• Would be considered as a plus:</p> <p>• Basic Knowledge for Docker, Kubernetes</p> <p>• Experience with scripting tools and languages: Shell Scripting</p> <p>• Basic knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML</p> <p>• At least 2 years in consulting/technical support role</p> <p>• Experience with Java and/or REST API</p> <p>• Working / being knowledgeable with banking / finance system</p> <p>• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Soft Skills:</p> <p> </p> <p>• Good command of French language – both written and spoken</p> <p>• Strong analytical skills and incisive thinking ability</p> <p>• Problem solving skills</p> <p>• Ability to work independently as well as in a team</p> <p>• Strong communication skills (active listener, think before acting, verbal and writing skills)</p> <p>• Ability to adapt to new situations</p> <p>• Comfortable in client-facing situations</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Company Overview</strong> </p> <p>At Axway, we’re more than a company—we’re a pioneer.
