The company is successfully developing and is a rapidly growing B2B business. As part of the product team development strategy, we are looking for a Lead Frontend developer in the development team.
Responsibilities:
Managing a team of ~3 frontend developers: ensuring clear task distribution and team leadership, taking into account individual abilities and workload of each developer.
Task planning for the week in collaboration with Project Managers: Collaborating with Project Managers to determine weekly priorities and tasks.
Estimating and setting deadlines in collaboration with developers and Project Managers: participating in time estimation for task completion and setting realistic deadlines.
Conducting sync-ups for the team: organizing daily meetings with the team to discuss progress, issues, and future plans.
Monitoring the implementation of deadlines by each frontend developer and resolving emerging issues: observing adherence to set deadlines and promptly responding to delays or problems.
Retrospective on the implementation of deadlines for each frontend developer at the end of the week with PMs and managers: discussing achievements and issues that arose during the week to improve processes in the future.
Technical assistance to developers: providing support and solutions to technical issues faced by developers.
Coordinating work between frontend developers, Project Managers, backend developers, and designers: organizing collaborative work among various specialists for the development and tracking of new features.
Distribution of release blocks among developers: determining who will work on release blocks, especially when it is initially unclear, and monitoring their completion.
Participation in quarterly plans and processes meetings: actively participating in strategic planning and process discussions.
Code review of tasks by your developers: reviewing and improving the quality of code written by team members.
Communication with the Head of Frontend: timely informing the Head of Frontend about any critical issues or risks requiring attention.
Implementation of product tasks on a smaller scale: continuing to participate in development but with a reduced workload, allocating time to team management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in interface development;
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript;
Outstanding skills and experience in writing Single Page Applications (SPA) using React;
Good knowledge of HTML and CSS;
Understanding of the principles of RESTful API and HTTP/HTTPS with documentation on SWAGGER;
Proficiency in written English (all business correspondence is conducted in English).
Additional qualifications are a plus:
Experience with Next.js, Styled Components, React Query, Redux, NX, Webpack, Node.js;
Experience in writing unit tests and integration tests (using Jest or similar tools);
Experience working with microservices architecture.
