Verisk is implementing Oracle’s Cloud Fusion ERP (Project BOOST) to replace legacy on premise Peoplesoft ERP and select HR Applications. This ERP Master Data Lead role is being created to set up and lead an ERP Master Data Governance COE to ensure that Data Standards are being created and applied across the integrated Customer, Finance & HR data domains. This will initially be during data configuration, cleansing & conversion. Post launch the ERP Data Governance COE team will ensure that operational processes and governance are in place to maintain, measure, improve and extend Quality in ERP data elements against established metrics so that trust in Financial, Customer & HR data from Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP is Verisk’s Gold Source.  
Role is based in our Jersey City, NJ global headquarters where we have a flexible hybrid work model with in-office and remote working each week.

Purpose of the Role

• Develop a data sourcing, standards and governance plan to support the set up & maintenance of the BOOST Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP modules 
• Ensure that data standards are being appropriately considered and defined within each ERP workstream plan
• Ensure that data validation & cleansing activities are continually advancing domain data quality prior to data loading as part of Go Live readiness assessments
• Ensure that Data Quality thresholds are set, measured and achieved prior to Go Live transition validation
• Ensure Governance processes & measurement (including Data Owners & Stewards) are established, in place and operational prior to Go Live
• Ensure ERP data processes and tools are maintained and evolving in alignment with broader Verisk Analytics data governance approaches 
• Ensure that ERP Data nomenclature, configurations, hierarchies and update processes support Gold Standard ERP analytics & reporting

Primary Goals to Be Assured by the ERP Master Data Lead

• Develop a modeled view of Consolidated Customer Revenues to meet current business needs and as an accelerator of Order To Cash workstream
• BOOST Workstreams have a data sourcing, standards and governance plan to support the set up & maintenance of their Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP modules
• A comprehensive vision and model exists to assess and measure BOOST Master Data quality against established standards & quality thresholds
• Appropriate relationships and RACI’s established between ERP Data Governance COE and cohorts of Data Stewards / Owners / Operators
• Ensure adherence to data standards for upstream and downstream data flow requirements
• BOOST platform accepted as Gold Source data for Customer Hierarchies, Financial & HR data for both Analytics & Reporting and as Master Data to be leveraged by other platforms

Specific Responsibilities of the ERP Master Data Lead

1.   Develop a modeled view of Consolidated Customer Revenues to meet current business needs and as an accelerator of Order To Cash workstream

• Develop and maintain a Customer Hierarchy data model that enables consolidation of revenues from current billing environments. The model should account for both data in its raw state (as it was received from business Billing System sources) and any transformed/normalized hierarchical views that would create efficiencies and provide value add to business finance teams and other stakeholders
• Update tactical model as needed to keep pace with the changing state of both data availability and the business, pending deployment of Order To Cash workstream within BOOST environment (expected early 2025)
• Continuously review this hierarchy with the business and ensure their understanding of why it represents the ideal state for us to establish within BOOST Customer Data Master module

 2.     BOOST Workstreams have a data sourcing, standards and governance plan to support the set up & maintenance of their Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP modules

• Develop and maintain a rolling plan to increasingly populate the Oracle data domains with Master Data required to ensure that Quality standards are fully realized and validated in sprints and workstreams prior to Go Live transition (early 2025)
• Support workstreams in identification and conversion of legacy sources of information to populate BOOST required ERP Module Master Data configurations
