Duties and Responsibilities / KPI’s

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and equipment.
• Record inventory transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Store items safely and systematically.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch materials as per operational needs.
• Conduct cycle counts and support inventory audits.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and logistics teams.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge

• Minimum Requirement:
  High School Diploma 
• Bachelor's degree is an added advantage 
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Vocational training or certification in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
  Forklift operation certification.
  Basic computer literacy and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Working Conditions

Environment:

• -Industrial warehouses located near mining operations, exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery.
• Schedule:
• -Shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays depending on operational demands.
• Physical Requirements:
  -Ability to lift and move heavy items.
  -Standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods.
  -Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Safety:
  - Strict adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures is mandatory.

• Follow established safe work practices and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or illnesses.
• Operate machinery, tools, and equipment safely, following manufacturer's instructions and the AML safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to reduce hazards and prevent accidents.
