Since 1962, our Asset Protection Division has been a trusted provider of F&I solutions for the automotive industry. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of vehicle protection plans, maintenance programs, and other F&I products to thousands of dealerships. The APD Operations team is dedicated to supporting and enhancing our platform solutions, and we're looking for a dynamic Change Management Specialist to join us. The Change Management Specialist will play a critical role in managing and facilitating the process of change within APD Operations. This role ensures that impacted business units are able to minimize disruption in the short term and prepare leaders and employees to adopt new behaviors, technology, and processes. The specialist will work closely with stakeholders to understand the impact of change on people, processes, and technology, and develop strategies to minimize resistance, ensure a smooth transition, and support sustained long-term change.  

Responsibilities

  • Core Responsibilities 
  • Develop and implement change management plans and strategies, including defining change management measures of success. 
  • Foster a positive culture of change within the organization. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure changes are implemented in a coordinated manner. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure ongoing support for change initiatives. 
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to promote communication and collaboration. 
  • Advise leaders on how to manage resistance to change and provide guidance to stakeholders during the transition. 
  • Identify and share best practices for change management within the organization. 

Stakeholder Impact Analysis

  • Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis. 
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with initiatives. 

Communication

  • Develop and implement communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed of changes 
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic communication plans that align with organizational goals and objectives. 
  • Partner with other communication contacts to create a holistic view of communications being delivered to audiences. 
  • Provide comprehensive communications support, including: 
  • Drafting emails, memos, and other written materials for internal and possibly external audiences. 
  • Create PowerPoint presentations to support various communication needs. 
  • Develop and deliver communications for executive and leadership meetings, ensuring clear and effective messaging. 

Training

  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs  

Monitoring and Measurement

  • Develop and maintain documentation and reporting systems to track change management activities. 
  • Collect and analyze data to track and communicate progress on change management measures of success. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in change management, communications, or a related field. 
  • Excellent communication & design skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, from senior executives to front-line employees. 
  • Must be able to analyze complex situations and data and use this information to develop effective change strategies. 
  • Ability to adjust plans based on each environment’s specific characteristics to lead to successful implementation outcomes. 
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing communication strategies and plans. 
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations, including PowerPoint design. 
  • Strong writing and editing skills for various communication channels, including emails, memos, and reports
