JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Title: Maintenance Planner
Location: Bedford, NH
Department: Engineering
Reporting To: Project Engineer
Responsible For (Staff): No
The Maintenance Planner leads efforts to improve work force productivity, increase the efficiency/quality of maintenance work, and lead teams in preparation of maintenance work to achieve a high degree of quality completion for planned work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interacts with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and managers to identify key criteria to aid in the scheduling of maintenance work.
- Prioritization of work packages, plan resource commitments, verifying parts needed for maintenance work.
- Manage tracking open work requests and work packages that have been planned and are awaiting scheduling.
- Maintain CMMS database master data including updates to maintenance plans and spare parts requirements.
- Develops and maintains tracking spreadsheets to provide performance metrics and trend analysis of the maintenance organization.
- Prepares, sends, and updates critical maintenance scheduling communications to team members.
- Conduct meetings related to both planning and scheduling to ensure good communication within team.
- Highly skilled in prioritizing assignments and establishing effective working relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High School diploma or GED required; relevant technical or trade experience preferred.
- 2–5+ years of relevant experience in maintenance planning; preferably in a cGMP / pharmaceutical setting
- Proficiency with CMMS software (e.g., MAXIMO, SAP, BMRAM)
- Experience in Six Sigma, Lean, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Results-driven with a high commitment to quality and compliance

- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs
