TxDOT's Fort Worth District is looking for a Maintenance Engineer (TE II/III) – District Maintenance Office based in Fort Worth, TX. A day in the life of a Maintenance Engineer II – District Maintenance Office may include:
•    Oversight of the bridge preventative maintenance program
•    Advising the bridge crew 
•    Oversite of the MBITS program
•    Leading interns and engineers on designing maintenance contracts
•    Assisting with inspection of maintenance contracts
•    Assisting in emergency operations
•    Other duties as assigned
Additionally, a day in the life of Maintenance Engineer III - District Maintenance Office may include:
•    Managing the sealcoat portfolio
•    Collection of data for pavement management
•    Other duties as assigned

Salary/Plan Group:

• Transportation Engineer II: B25 $69,572 - $114,099

• Transportation Engineer III: B26 $76,530 - $129,430
