District Operations Specialist - Canada & Pacific Northwest

 

Mission:
To assist the Senior District Manager and SBU Operations team in planning, organizing, coordinating, and executing functions crucial to business operations.
 

Scope:
The DOS is a non-exempt, full-time position, reporting to a senior district manager. This position has no direct reports. The DOS will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to supporting district workforce management, district efficiency, partner relationship management, inventory management, technology support, administration, and training. Travel, including overnights, may be required.
 

Role Expectations:
 

Workforce Management:
• Monitor merchandiser team’s adherence to service time guidelines
• Partner with senior district manager to achieve service compliance and service efficiency targets • Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of new store/fixture roll outs and district initiatives
• Plan, maintain, and adjust mobile merchandiser schedules
• Coordinate with SBU to achieve optimal work production
• Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to efficiency and internal and external team needs
 

District Efficiency:
• Maintain an updated Partner Directory
• Collect and escalate inventory and supply needs such as stock loss issues, push requests, and service articles • Schedule, monitor, and validate inventories
• Monitor and react to package handling issues
• Weekly roll up of WOLI/campaign/trend reporting provided to senior district manager
• Guide and support MM team in relation to service cycle and device troubleshooting
• Ability to process SalesForce payroll in senior district manager’s absence
• Expense and mileage auditing, processing
 

Technology Support:
• Maintains device tracking logs
• Provides device support for Mobile Merchandisers • Provides salesforce support for Mobile Merchandisers
• Submits tickets and follows up with replacements
• Provides training for IT platforms such as Teams, SalesForce, and FSL for new hires or struggling team members
 

Training and Education:
• Assists with virtual onboarding, specifically in areas related to operations (Safety, Stock Management)
• Virtual refresh trainings for districts, particularly regarding policies, procedures, partner relations, location improvement, and operations • Lead safety initiatives
• Re-train merchandisers returning from worker’s compensation leave on relevant safety policies and practices
 

Role Requirements:
• Technology Proficient:

  • o Ownership of smart-phone and ability/willingness to utilize to perform work-relatable duties.
  • Knowledge regarding general office equipment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Internet access

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be flexible in terms of travel and weekly hours worked.
 

Immediate Critical Outcomes:
• Thorough understanding of MM and DMM job expectations including all tools available to optimize performance (First 30 days) • Understanding of business operations, support tools, and operating systems (First 30 days)
• Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with senior district manager, mobile merchandiser team, cross-district colleagues, and SBU support personnel (First 30 days)
• District service compliance and service efficiency targets achieved (First 90 days)
