POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Business Manager to work within our Information Technology department. The Business Manager will be responsible for helping the Technology organization evolve into an industry leading function that supports the long term growth of Global Atlantic. This position will partner with the Technology leadership team on a number of key initiatives to reshape the organizations strategy around how the function will be managed and measured. The Business Manager will collaborate with stakeholders from Technology, Finance, Risk & Control functions, and report into Chief Technology Office (CTO).

JOB DETAILS

• Assist IT Leadership on conceptualizing technology asset future state for user experience and business cases
• Assist Enterprise Architect in analysis and documentation of current landscape of all technology assets and determine required solutions for dis-invest and decommission opportunities
• Develop key process and governance models, documentation and workflows on strategic business/project management initiatives
• Establish a consumption based total cost of ownership (TCO) model around the application and platform infrastructure
• Assist in developing a foundational IT service catalog that will be the source of cost allocation methodology and empower better business decisions
• Partner with Finance to understand Technology Financials to find opportunities for efficiency and cost savings
• Support business partners on capital approval requests for new projects and ROI analysis
• Support ad-hoc requests from business partners and collaborate with various cross functional teams, including vendor management, to provide appropriate information and analysis
• Resource management, headcount tracking and forecasting of all full time, contractors, and vendor consultants to enable accurate capacity planning for target operating model

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years experience in Technology, Technology Business Management or Project Management
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
• Experience of software development lifecycle stages
• Experience with IT Catalog and Total Cost of Ownership Model is a plus
• Detail oriented and accuracy-focused
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Experience in supporting and managing the expectations of multiple clients and stakeholders

Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. 

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range.
