Discovery seeks to unlock value for the company through igniting curiosity in all its team members, encouraging collaboration and constantly transforming the way we work.</p><p></p><p>As the Senior FP&amp;A Analyst Studios Capital, you work within the Global Technology Opex &amp; Capex COE team which offers you a great opportunity to participate in the overall finance transformation roadmap setting standards for the financial processes of WBD. The role reports to Global Capex FP&amp;A Manager and work closely with the Finance Business Partners supporting each Line of Business for Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden and Burbank as well as Tokyo Tours. The key objective of the role is to track, analyze, plan and control  the capital expenditures of Studios Operations. The role provides business decision support and other ad hoc analysis as required.</p><p></p><p><b>Your Role Accountabilities…</b></p><p></p><p>Capital Budgeting &amp; Forecasting</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Assist the Executive FP&amp;A Director in the preparation of the capital budgets and cash flows.</p></li><li><p>Preparing CBS Metrics Report for combined Studios Operations (Leavesden &amp; Burbank)</p></li><li><p>Modelling the bi-annual forecast of depreciation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Capital Expenditure Tracking and Fixed Assets Maintenance</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Ensure all capital projects are tracked accurately and on a timely basis in the Capital Budgeting System. Work closely with the project capital team in Burbank and FP&amp;A Manager in Leavesden to ensure all processes are followed, reporting deadlines met, and projects appropriately tracked and reported within Corporate guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Opening new capital projects upon business request, ensuring adherence to the WBD capital policy.</p></li><li><p>Adhere to SOX requirements to periodically review the fixed asset listing with Leavesden &amp; Burbank directors.</p></li><li><p>Ensure asset maintenance by keeping the fixed asset listing up to date and accurate (capital transfers, name changes, cost centre changes, write-offs).</p></li><li><p>Close capitals projects, perform general capital projects housekeeping, clear GR/IR balances.</p></li><li><p>Manage a Stat IO process when a project requires tracking: this is usually for insurance claims where we are having work done to remediate initially before offsetting payment is covered by insurance or 3rd party.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>General Reporting</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Daily reporting for Happy Potter London Tour including Ticket Sales, Availability Report, Daily Ops Report.</p></li><li><p>Submit quarterly capital data to the Office of National Statistics.</p></li><li><p>Prepare the monthly cash flow analysis for capital.</p></li><li><p>Prepare the monthly Assets Under Construction report obtaining input from key stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Prepare the footnotes reports for Corporate on capital commitments at the end of each quarter.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Adhoc</p><ul><li><p>Prepare variance analysis as required.</p></li><li><p>Provide business support for the management of all lines of business.</p></li><li><p>Provide ad hoc analysis as required.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and post monthly capital accrual journals.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and post journals when required to ensure correct cash codes are used.</p></li><li><p>Running an up-to-date fixed asset listing.</p></li><li><p>Dealing with audit queries, VAT queries, PO queries, capital spend over the years, general capital queries.</p></li><li><p>Dealing with Current year and OB capital project queries</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience…</b></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of working experience preferably with in FP&amp;A or Controlling departments,</p></li><li><p>Relevant finance education (finance and accounting, economics etc.),</p></li><li><p>Capital projects experience an advantage,</p></li><li><p>Budgeting and forecasting experience needed,</p></l
