We are looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Health, Safety and Security (HSS) team, with focus on our reinvestment projects in the Nordics. The position is part of our HSSE network and benefits from global networks across business areas in Statkraft. </p><p>As our project portfolio in the Nordics is increasing, we need to increase our central HSS staff with a professional with experience from the energy sector or other relevant industries. <em>Our current team consists of 6 dedicated employees.</em></p><ul><li>Inspire and advise project organization on HSS matters on project sites and in workshops/meetings</li><li>Advise and support the line (and our VP Projects and PMO) on HSS matters during design and construction of projects</li><li>Analyze and assess risk and trends and strive for continuous improvement in our projects</li><li>Participate in Statkraft’s HSS networks and implement common initiatives </li><li>Follow up incidents and deviations, participate in investigations and share learnings and best practices</li><li>Lecture in courses and participate in training activities related to HSS</li><li>Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with standards and requirements.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>MSc/BSc within HSSE/Technical Safety/ Risk management or similar. Long relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.</li><li>Experience as an operative HSSE advisor/manager within safety in projects and/or in operations and maintenance. </li><li>Experience from the Energy/Renewable/Civil sector is an advantage</li><li>Knowledge and engagement in acknowledged methods and IT tools/systems for HSSE</li><li>The ability to add value through continuous improvement and use of new technology</li><li>Excellent communication and cooperation skills in a Scandinavian language and English, both orally and in writing</li></ul><p><strong>Your personal characteristics:</strong></p><ul><li>High integrity, with health and safety as a value and commitment</li><li>Positive communicator at all levels of the organisation, with good networking skills</li><li>Recognized as inspiring, structured, and efficient</li><li>Practical and solution oriented towards the sharp end balancing a business mindset.</li><li>Balancing the need to work independent, anchor, work in teams and work through others</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>A career with Statkraft is a career filled with purpose – meaning that every employee is not just making a living, they are making a real difference to the planet, our communities, and the future.
