Senior Art Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Senior Art Director assists and ensures content creation across print, digital and social. This position will serve as a visual lead, team ideator, and subject matter expert for all creative assets across marketing-driven projects, campaigns and/or ongoing programs for Pace.

This role needs a combination of talent and skill to shape high-quality assets (amazing ideas, expertly crafted from a visual tone, and clarity perspective).

We require a strong, proven portfolio that demonstrates your design savvy in support of client business objectives through a marketing/advertising/in-house agency.

 

We are currently focusing our recruiting on candidates that live in the following states.

• NC, FL, GA, SC, TN, TX

- Please note, employees living within 50 miles of Pace HQ will be expected to comply with our hybrid policy (In office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays). Employees living between 50-100 miles of Pace HQ are required to come into the office once a month.

• The salary for this position will range from $55,400 - $62,000 depending on experience, education, geographical location, and other factors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

• Create audience-centric assets, inclusive of new business presentations (PowerPoint), social (LinkedIn and IG), emails, visual support for website articles, blogs and case studies
• Active participation in brainstorming and ideation
• Conceptualize, collaborate and share ideas and best practices with peers across the organization
• Creation and ownership of the creative slides in PowerPoint as a part of larger presentation decks, with a focus on continuous optimization of approach, look & feel
• Implement campaigns targeted toward audiences including CMOs and procurement specialists
• Strong collaboration with team members
• Commission photography, custom illustrations, and conduct photo research and stock image sourcing as needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

 

BFA in Graphic Design or related degree

Experience may be considered in lieu of educational degree

 

Experience:

 

4-6 years in a design related field

Agency experience preferred

 

Skills:

 

• Active participation in brainstorming and ideation
• Ability to move beyond the template and exhibit top-tier design skills across all assets touched
• Ability to present 'the strategic why' behind the creative and articulate the solve
• Ability to self-manage time and meet expected deadlines, completing work on time and within the hours allocated
• Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, PowerPoint
• Demonstrated experience creating across print, digital and social channels
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of CMS systems and workflow tools; specific knowledge of WordPress is a plus
• Creating social conversations as love language
