Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist (level 5) to join our Product Development (PD) Business Operations Integrated Planning and Scheduling team located in Everett, WA!

We are looking for a dynamic candidate with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong analytical skills. The Integrated Planning and Scheduling team requires the ability to build relationships, gain commitment from a variety of working groups, and analyze critical data.  Current team statement of work includes planning for our future airplane program study, derivative updates and integrating technology enabler projects into our existing and future airplane programs. Our program planners work with key functional stakeholders and managers to lead the integration of program gates, deliverables and key activities across all airplane product and production system value streams and scenario-plan to evaluate program risks and opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identifies Program risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation plans

  • Facilitates and ensures integration of program plans, schedules, change and baseline management, processes and techniques considered to be best practice across the industry

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

  • Performs integration of highly complex program plans, horizontally and vertically, across engineering functions, suppliers and partners

  • Identifies, analyzes and reports performance variances to leadership

  • Collects and integrates statement of work from multi-functional value stream subject matter experts, including Product Development Airplane Configuration and Integration (AC&I)

  • Manages Product Development Tier 0 Program plans following the Enterprise Standard Gated Process

  • Provides training and mentoring to other team members

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects

  • 10+ years of experience performing in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management or business operations role

  • 10+ years of experience working in a dynamic work environment, including managing multiple priorities simultaneously

  • 10+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, developing and presenting recommendations to the executive level and leading high-level projects for Executives or Sr Leadership

  • 10 + years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools

  • Experience with program oversight, project management tools & metrics reporting

  • Experience with all phases of airplane product and production system development, including new airplane studies, derivatives and sustaining airplane programs

  • Experience with developing strategy, vision and schedule from program concept through delivery, initially with limited available data and direction

  • Project Management Certificate or Training

  • Experience in using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
