Summary of This Role

The Manager of Network Delivery Acceleration will work for the Merchant Enterprise Network Services Organization as a collaborator with the Architecture, Operations and Application teams. This role, reporting to the Director of Merchant Enterprise Network Services performs broad management of planning, organizing, coordinating, administering and delivering on activities for the department. This position will be required to lead, coach, and advance the work of staff and provide oversight of budgets. The Manager of Network Delivery Acceleration will oversee the project delivery of high priority business projects requiring networking technologies in a variety of environments. This person will work to develop and refine best practices, elevate engineering and operational excellence as well as, help the team align with the Global Payments vision, core values and goals. The individual in this role will be expected to work collaboratively with leadership and promote a healthy work environment which fosters team alignment within the organization. The Manager of Network Delivery Acceleration will demonstrate that they can relate to the engineering staff, inspire them, build trust, and motivate them in a direction consistent with the leadership-culture.

What Part Will You Play?

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of networking needs for high priority business projects and internal network projects
• Help to drive project completion for internal network owned projects
• Develops long and short term goals for solutions and delivery to align with corporate goals 
• Continuously builds strong partnerships and fosters a team culture
• Maintains leadership transparency with reports to ensure visibility and alignment  
• Establish regular touch points with key partners to help drive efficiencies
• Plans and reviews the daily activities and delivery within domain 
• Seeks and produces alignment with reference architecture
• Identifies issues which may impact the department, takes appropriate steps to resolve problems 
• Interprets and applies rules, regulations, policies and procedures set forth 
• Prepares complex and professional reports, documents, diagrams and correspondence
• Work closely with Network Platform Operations teams for supporting the enterprise network infrastructure

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer-related field
• 6+ years of experience in a network skill domain via certificates / training / other 
• 3+ years of management experience
• 3+ years of corporate leadership experience
• 4+ years Experience working in an enterprise level data centers

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years experience working in a Cisco networking environment
• 4+ years within financial technology industry
