About the role

XMSTART is looking to add a dual-hatted full-time Senior leader with Program Management skills to lead and oversee one or more contracts within our organization as well as provide corporate leadership expertise. This position will include direct customer support as well as indirect corporate support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing corporate performance objectives and project deliverables, ensuring program alignment with corporate strategic goals, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, and interacting with our customers and partners in industry and Government.  This role requires a strong understanding of program management principles, corporate leadership experience, and a strong reputation in XMSTART’s customer spaces.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage one or more projects to ensure successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide on-site direct customer support as a program manager for business operations.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Act as the primary Corporate point of contact to assign programs, providing regular updates on program status and performance.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to optimize project outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in program management.
  • Prepare and present reports to program senior leadership and government representatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager, preferably in a government or defense-related environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with risk assessment, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of government contracting, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications (preferred but not required).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
