The Opportunity
We are seeking an Audio-Visual Junior Technical Specialist to join our Firm. This individual will provide audio visual services and support firmwide. This shift will take place 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
- Provides audio visual support through timely and accurate setup, operation and break down of audio-visual hardware and software, such as: small to large audio visual systems, projectors, video monitors, computers, sound systems, digital signage, presentations, various web conference clients and etc.
- Maintains and troubleshoots audio visual equipment; makes minor repairs and arranges for repair and equipment service.
- Assists with minor edits of in-house produced video recordings.
- Writes and maintains technical documentation and the Firm’s database.
- Assists with technology support, conference services, and facilities as needed.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
- Provides a high level of client service.
- Performs frequent physical exertion including: walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive use of both hands, lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Manages Firm resources responsibly.
- Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Firm operation, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of audio and video production equipment, techniques and methodologies.
- Knowledge of web conferencing clients, such as Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and video conferencing equipment.
- Knowledge of presentations programs and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of audio and video editing software and digital signage software.
- Experience with AV control systems, such as Crestron, Atlona, Extron and etc.
- Updates and maintains knowledge current for all AV related technologies.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions.
- Demonstrates close attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.
- Flexibility to travel [If applicable].
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of related work experience
