Role Summary:
Under the direction of the Sr. Brand Experience Manager/Team Leader, the Creative Marketing Associate supports the creative team by assisting with social media content creation, scheduling, and day-to-day creative tasks. This role helps bring the Gesa brand to life across digital channels by supporting storytelling, visual content, and community-focused messaging. This role is a temporary developmental position, built for someone wanting hands-on experience working within a collaborative creative environment while helping ensure content is on brand, timely, and member focused.
What You Will Be Doing:
Support the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content across approved platforms, including writing captions, assisting with basic graphic or video needs
Assist the creative team with gathering, organizing, and preparing content for campaigns, promotions, community highlights, and internal initiatives
Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and messages and escalate items as appropriate
Assist with basic content reporting and tracking, including engagement metrics and content performance summaries
Support creative projects as assigned, which may include coordination, asset organization, content research, proofreading, or light production assistance
Collaborate with Marketing, Community Relations, and other internal teams to support storytelling and campaign execution
Promote the credit union difference as a not-for-profit financial cooperative in all work, internally and externally
Display leadership values which include mutual respect, trust, and dignity, acting in the best interest of the credit union. Perform duties in a safe and sound manner
Consistently display respect for all areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion
Maintain a general understanding of credit union products, services, and community involvement efforts
Keep supervisor advised of project status, deadlines, and any concerns
Maintain all sensitive data with the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism
About You:
Strong written communication skills with attention to tone, clarity, and detail
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with team members and internal partners
Ability to work collaboratively within a creative team environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to take direction and feedback while also showing initiative
Ability to perform administrative and creative support tasks using standard computer applications
QualificationsWhat You Will Need:
High School diploma or equivalent
Currently pursuing, recently completed, or self-directed study in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field — coursework, a degree in progress, a completed program, or equivalent demonstrated experience would be accepted
Knowledge of social media platforms, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and digital tools preferred
Occasional travel to events, locations, and Gesa facilities across the Pacific Northwest as marketing needs require to support content creation, meetings, etc.
Proficiency with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office applications preferred
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain an active Driver’s License
