We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our Chemical Intermediates group. The Chemical Intermediates business in North America recognizes that superior supply chain planning and execution are essential elements of our overall success. This is a challenging high profile position that has significant impact to our global performance. 

As a Sr. Supply Chain Planner, You Create Chemistry By...

 

• Develops and implements comprehensive supply chain production planning, raw material planning and replenishment, and inventory management for the Geismar Specialty Amines plants
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and understand impact to supply chain on a site, business unit and global level
• Supports the Sales and Operating planning (S&OP) processes to ensure a proactive balance of supply and demand for the CIA business in North America and support global material balance of products
• Communicates with global and regional marketing, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain to align priorities and confirm production and operational plans are executed
• Leads site Specialty Amines production planning process with cross-functional team to ensure visibility and alignment between functions and across business groups
• Manages CIA rail car fleet for all railcars in the Geismar Specialty Amines fleet, including optimization of usage, identification for customer requirements, compliance to regulatory requirements, and assist in fleet modeling

If you...

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 6 or more years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Chemical Manufacturing Planning, or Materials Management
• Detailed working knowledge of SAP relative to production planning, raw material replenishment, shipping scheduling and inventory reconciliation
• Strong analytical skills, including expert knowledge in Excel
• Ability to develop and implement strategies and operating plans which meet market demands while incorporating business and supply requirements and conditions
• Execution oriented with strong conflict resolution skills
• APICS certification preferred
