Join us.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>AECOM Spain <strong>MEP team </strong>is a highly qualified group of professionals experts in offering the best solutions to international client’s needs all around the world.</p><p>Our building services engineers are at the forefront of their discipline for the design of the mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) systems required for the safe, comfortable and environmentally friendly operation of buildings. We embrace world class methodologies and technologies, including information rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle.</p><p>Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking for an <strong>experienced Electrical Engineer</strong> to support the plan, and who has is looking to further develop their experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects. These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors including among others, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Aviation, Commercial and Defense.</p><p>Working within a dynamic, highly motivated and driven team, you will be part of our project delivery, mentor our junior staff and develop our future engineers. As a Senior<strong> Electrical Engineer</strong>, you will contribute to the winning, management and delivery of moderate to large scale projects. </p><p>In the role, you will be expected to:</p><ul><li>Complete Electrical power and lighting designs for projects of all sizes.</li><li>Makes major design recommendations and design decisions with input from senior staff.</li><li>Coordinates design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers.</li><li>Maintains accurate project documentation and design data for permanent project files.</li><li>Acts as an adviser, reviewing works prepared by other project team members, in case of need.</li><li>Evaluates project staffing requirements, analyzes problems, and writes reports.</li><li>Attends project meetings with clients or other stakeholders.</li><li>Help preparing proposals and presentations.</li><li>Assists in project checking for quality control on other projects.</li><li>Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans and drawings.</li><li>Ability to switch between work on multiple/different projects daily.</li></ul><p> </p><ul></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or industrial engineering with Electrical Emphasis Engineering from an accredited program.</li><li>Ideally you have 5 to 15 years of experience in a similar role or demonstrated experience.</li><li>Good knowledge in international regulations and standards (NFPA, BS, IEC, etc).</li><li>Proficiency in engineering calculation software for electrical discipline (CANECO, ETAP, etc).</li><li>Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written).</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>About AECOM</strong></p><p>AECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
