We are Delivery Hero.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are on the lookout for a <strong>Senior/Principal Product Manager</strong> to lead the strategic development and execution of our AI/ML-driven personalized recommendation initiatives for vendors. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge machine learning models to provide actionable, data-backed recommendations that help restaurants optimize their operations, enhance customer engagement, and ultimately drive significant business growth on our platform.</p><p>You will define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a suite of intelligent recommendation systems, working closely with engineering, data science, design, and business teams. This is a unique opportunity to make a profound impact on the success of thousands of businesses and shape the future of vendor empowerment in the food delivery ecosystem.</p><ul><li><p>Strategic Vision &amp; Roadmap: Define and champion the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML-powered personalized recommendations for vendors. This includes identifying opportunities to optimize menu pricing, promotions, marketing campaigns, operational efficiencies, and customer retention strategies.</p></li><li><p>Product Discovery &amp; Research: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and gather deep insights into vendor needs and pain points through interviews, data analysis, and qualitative feedback.</p></li><li><p>AI/ML Integration: Work hand-in-hand with data scientists and machine learning engineers to identify, prioritize, and integrate sophisticated AI/ML models into product features that deliver tangible value to vendors. Understand the nuances of model performance, interpretability, and ethical implications.</p></li><li><p>Feature Definition &amp; Execution: Translate complex business problems and AI/ML capabilities into clear, concise product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch iteration.</p></li><li><p>Cross-Functional Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate seamlessly with engineering, data science, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and successful delivery of products.E ffectively communicate product strategy, progress, and results to executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners. Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for AI/ML capabilities within the organization.</p></li><li><p>Performance Monitoring &amp; Optimization: Define key metrics, establish dashboards, and rigorously monitor the performance of recommendation features. Utilize A/B testing and other methodologies to continuously optimize and improve product outcomes.</p></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years in a Principal or Lead PM role, specifically focused on AI/ML-driven products or platforms.</li><li><p>Proven track record of defining and launching successful AI/ML products that have delivered significant business impact, coupled with strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights and product decisions.</p></li><li><p>Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, data pipelines, and their practical application in product development.</p></li><li><p>Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action — you thrive in ambiguous environments and enjoy building 0-1 products from scratch</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences as well as ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.</p></li><li><p>Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment, preferably within a B2B SaaS, e-commerce, or marketplace platform.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience in the food delivery, restaurant technology, or gig economy sectors.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with vendor-facing platforms and their unique business challenges.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with user research, A/B testing, and growth experimentation.</p></li><li><p>Comfortable operating in an environment with high ambiguity
