About the role

This description is intended for individuals whose primary effort is in a pharmacy practice position with a different employer. Interested individuals will be eligible to be considered for a .2 FTE faculty position with the following effort:

Provision of combination of the following: didactic education 6-12 hours, maximized (2 student/rotation) experiential rotations 3-5 APPE and/or 2-3 APPE + 1 IPPE. 

Discussion will occur with JCP leadership to determine what combination of contribution best fits, the final decision will be made by JCP. The didactic hours must be provided by the faculty, the experiential hours may be provided by the faculty or other approved preceptors within the practice site.

The faculty position includes the following responsibilities: participating in JCP Faculty and Department meetings; participating in accreditation process, and may include serving as a student advisor, student organization facilitator, as a JCP committee member, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Degree: appropriate to position: Doctor of Pharmacy, PhD, other graduate level healthcare degree
  • Active Pharmacist license if applicable to degree
  • Board Certification desired if applicable to degree
  • Approved JCP preceptor if applicable to degree
