Senior Analog IC Designer - Automotive Electrification

<p>NXP Semiconductors, a global leader in automotive and electrification solutions, is looking for a Senior Analog IC Designer to join our R&amp;D center in Milan. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for next-generation automotive applications, with a strong focus on electrification systems (EV/HEV, battery management, power conversion).</p><p></p><h2>Your Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Design and simulate analog and mixed-signal blocks such as LDOs, bandgap references, amplifiers, DC/DC, charge Pumps, ADCs, DACs, and oscillators.</li><li>Perform top-level integration and supervise layout implementation.</li><li>Collaborate with digital, layout, verification, test, and product engineering teams.</li><li>Participate in system architecture definition and specification development.</li><li>Support silicon validation, characterization, and debugging.</li><li>Contribute to innovation and product roadmap for electrification solutions.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Your Profile</h2><ul><li>Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.</li><li>Minimum 7 years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design.</li><li>Strong knowledge of CMOS analog design and semiconductor device physics.</li><li>Proficiency with EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, etc.) and scripting (Python, SKILL).</li><li>Experience with the full design flow: from specification to silicon validation.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken.</li></ul><p></p><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Experience in automotive or power management applications.</li><li>Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).</li><li>Knowledge of advanced process technologies (e.g., BCD, SOI, HV CMOS).</li><li>Experience with circuits for battery management systems (BMS), DC-DC converters, gate drivers.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>What We Offer</h2><p>Work on cutting-edge technologies in a global, innovative environment.<br/>Dynamic and collaborative workplace with a strong focus on innovation.<br/>Career development opportunities and continuous learning.<br/>Competitive compensation and benefits package.<br/>Modern and accessible office in the heart of Milan.</p><p></p><p></p><p><a href="https://www.nxp.com/company/about-nxp/worldwide-locations/italy:ITALY" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">More information about NXP in Italy...</a></p><p></p>#LI-6710
