Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is currently accepting applications for a Registered Nurse (RN). This position reports to the Assistant Director of the Student Health Center in the Hazen Center for Integrated Care, this Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to Brockport students, provides laboratory duties including proficiencies, lab procedures and maintains supplies for clinic functioning. This position will provide management of front desk staff and electronic medical record optimizations. The person in this role will mentor clinical nursing students and office assistants and participate in campus health and wellness outreach activities. The RN will supervise student employees and assist in their development. Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized organization by the time of appointment.
• Valid New York State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to make independent nursing judgement within scope of practice.
• Ability to work effectively with students, public, university community and external constituencies, with an appreciation for cultural and group differences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
• Experience in ambulatory setting, emergency room or home care setting.
• Experience with reviewing and optimizing electronic medical records.
• Management experience in a healthcare setting.

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Salary and Benefits: The Minimum Salary for this position is $60,603.
