About the role
<h1>About the role </h1><p>The Sr. expert QC export and Custom is the key actor ensuring that exportation of QC material (Samples, reagents and material) is performed in compliance with local and international regulations. As member of QC logistic leadership team, he supports the QC logistics to ensure and adequate delivery of Quality Control.</p><p></p><h1>About the responsibilities</h1><ul><li>Main actor for Certificates (export/import), permits (export/import including Cites), statements and other related documentation. In this duty, he is also working in relations with local authorities</li><li>Main actor for financial valuation of goods and transportation, ensuring related operations and data management</li><li>SME for exportation/importation of QC reagents (Meeting, communications, SOPs, eCC/CAPA/Deviation and interactions with global functions and suppliers)</li><li>Problem solver for transportation (new routes, issue before, during and after transportation). In this duty, he is working with the operational team, other GSK sites, LOCs or other receiver. He participates to the review of transportation guidances</li><li>Key player in the maintenance and usage of the database regarding QC reagents management and transportation</li><li>Support of exportation team for operational purposes (i.e. documentation review)</li><li>Leader for continuous improvement, simplification and performance management on the exportation process (EHS, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost)</li><li>Coach and trainer for exportation & custom</li><li>Back-up of logistical FLL in QC</li></ul><h1></h1><h1>About you </h1><ul><li>Logistic background (transportation/supply) with Science knowledge </li><li>At least 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated QC/R&D environment (GMP) or equivalent in university</li><li>In-depth expertise in import and export customs formalities (international regulations, IATA, custom, … ) with In-depth knowledge of the legislative and regulatory aspects of logistics and customs, ADR transportation</li><li>Good networking and influencing skills.</li><li>Fluency in written and spoken English.</li><li>Highly organized and able to manage complex logistics operations.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to work effectively with a variety of partners.</li><li>Ability to solve problems (Orange/Green belt certification is an asset), problem solver mindset</li><li>Able to escalate quickly and manage risks properly</li><li>Data management skills: ability to use software to retrieve analyse and conclude on data</li><li>Analytical skills: The ability to analyse data and information to identify trends, opportunities for improvement and potential risks.</li><li>Team spirit</li><li>Autonomy: Ability to work independently and take the initiative when necessary.</li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-GSK</p><p>If you have a disability and require assistance during the course of the selection process, you will have the opportunity to let us know what specific assistance you require in order to make suitable arrangements.</p><p></p><p>Why Us?</p><p>GSK is a global biopharma company with a special purpose – to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together – so we can positively impact the health of billions of people and deliver stronger, more sustainable shareholder returns – as an organization where people can thrive.
