About this role

The Analyst will be a key member of the Strategy & Services team under the Global Residential Fire business unit, reporting to the Director of Strategy and Services. They will work independently to collect relevant data, prepare rigorous analysis, and execute strategy projects. You will have exposure to senior leaders in the Residential Fire business unit and have opportunities for advancement in the strategy function and other business functions.

The position will be based in Palm Beach Gardens FL or Mebane NC with some domestic travel expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes economic, target market information and competitive intelligence to provide strategic insights

• Prepares rigorous business case models, competitive analysis, market assessments, industry analysis and portfolio evaluations to support strategy and partnership decisions

• Stays abreast of industry or business trends via customers, competitors, suppliers and professional organizations

• Structures and solves complex business problems making recommendations on a wide range of issues

• Work with cross-functional teams (product management, finance, sales, engineering, and others) and external partners in strategic projects

• Supports strategic planning process and manages internal scorecards and reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• 3+ years of experience in analytics or strategy or strategic planning or competitive intelligence or financial planning or product management

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., MBA)

• Experience in and/or significant exposure to B2C companies and life safety products preferred

• Previous experience in management consulting a plus

• Superior problem solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
