Administrative Support File Clerk

1. Essential Job Duties:

• Travel to sites on a rotational schedule to perform all slide
• Complete all slide requests that are off-site to be pulled and sent for
• Participate in any organizational maintenance of CMC storage
• Complete Legal Hold Requests ensuring materials are pulled and placed in the off-site Legal Hold
• Assist with rotating out aged cabinets by preparing cabinets for transport to deep storage for
• Assist with periodic rotation of cabinets to ensure optimum space
• Perform special housekeeping projects as needed, e., Deep storage, Warehouse dead space, etc.
• Maintain competency through web-based Standard Operating Procedure updates as well as educational modules
• Use automated lab equipment properly according to lab procedures and manufacturer’s instructions
• Adheres to all PBM Safety policies and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies
• Learn and apply computer related applications and programs, including using electronic keyboards and other peripheral devices
• Protects confidentiality of patient information and results at all times
• Ensure work area has proper coverage at all times during the work shift, e., coverage for meal and/or rest periods
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of previous laboratory experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License, Proof of Automobile Insurance, and clean driving record, per PBM policy
• Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Verbal and written command of the English language; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to work independently and also function as part of a team
• Working knowledge of computer applications
• Customer service focused skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a limited time frame
