Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled IT Delivery Manager to join our dynamic IT team who will be Responsible for leading service delivery, overseeing project management, vendor relationships, and team development. Drive development strategy, optimize operational processes, and ensure quality assurance. Implement execution methodologies, communicate effectively with senior management, and manage risk for efficient and successful software service delivery.

 

 

What you will do:

• IT delivery manager responsible for ensuring that that all the changes committed for a release are delivered on time and schedule by the various development teams.
• Interact with different practices such as Business/IT Programme Managers/Heads, Business Analysis leads, Architects, Development Leads, QA leads, Release Management teams etc.
• Highly Adaptable and should have the ability to influence key stakeholders & engage key business & IT stakeholders in the definition of Payments requirements, evaluation and procurement of a best fit strategic Payments Processing solution.
• Work with a team of IT Specialists in the delivery of a transformed, resilient payment ecosystem aligned with the organization’s emerging target IT architecture and Payments Operating model.
• Manage delivery plans for the tactical and strategic changes to the Payments Eco-System, engaging commitment from development and infrastructure teams, ITO & ADM delivery partners, product vendors and implementation teams.
• Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to service level agreements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing concerns, and optimizing partnerships to enhance service delivery.
• Define/Refresh the delivery roadmap for complete programme, agreeing the overall investment budget allocation with senior bank investment official.
• Work with the individual stakeholders (Senior Management within individual IT areas) to build business cases for each project, and drive the review / approval of each case through a formal project approval process.
• Drive the delivery of IT solutions across multiple domains, to agreed scope, cost and timeline, to ensure the delivery project is setup for success.
• Across the full programme (portfolio of change):  Scope Management / Track benefit realization / Financial spend, Key issue/risk identification and management / Prepare and present status updates.
• Stakeholder Management, including - Reporting progress to a senior stakeholder group / Drive, manage and input to regular governance and reporting for a (Steering, Group Master PMO Unit etc.)

 

 

Experience and Skill Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology.
• Proven experience as an IT Delivery Manager, IT Project Manager, or in a similar role, managing complex IT projects and teams.
• Proven ability to identify potential risks to service delivery and development strategies.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing risk management processes to ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver clear and concise presentations for senior management.
