We are offering an exciting career opportunity for a Quality Engineer with proven experience monitoring and improving the overall quality of manufactured and assembled products within the Plant. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to ensure processes and products consistently meet established quality standards and customer expectations.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

• Maintain Quality Control plans, PFMEA inspections, and APQP documentation for programs assigned
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to develop and implement controls and improvements, set high quality benchmarks, drive overall efficiency, and promote safe processes
• Support the evaluation of Quality Systems and processes, and utilize internal Quality Management Systems to identify areas requiring improvement
• Fulfill PPAP requirements as assigned
• Mentor supporting Quality and Production personnel as necessary

 

 

 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or similar area is required
• 3 years’ experience in a customer related Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment, Automotive Industry preferred
• At least 1 year of experience with APQP, as well as IATF 16949, QOS, and ISO 9001 standards
• Core Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) Quality training (PPAP, FMEA MSA, SPC) is required
• Demonstrated competency in metrology, blueprint reading, statistical techniques, and color/appearance measurement
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer Certification is desired, but not required
• Experience with SAP is a plus
