Required Qualifications

• BS degree in accounting or related field
• Seven to eight years’ experience in general accounting and financial reporting required with preference given to applicants with experience in accounting/financial reporting in a higher education setting.
• Experience working with an enterprise-wide financial system required with advanced PC skills and extensive experience with MS Office
• Financial planning and analysis skills are critical to the success of this position.
• Must possess high integrity to provide ethical and consistent leadership in all areas of COS operations. 
• Must possess strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, high integrity, and demonstrate aptitude and desire to work as a member of a team and a proven record of being proactive in the performance of all job-related functions.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or MS in a related discipline with a professional certification (CPA, CMA, or CIA) preferred. Management/Supervisor experience is strongly preferred.
