Job Description:

This role contributes to the fulfillment of the University's mission and vision by serving as the lead in planning and implementing campus events and visits for undergraduate student recruitment, developing a culture of improving the student experience in early campus engagement. The Director will lead a team toward increasing campus collaboration to facilitate increased student interest based on engaging campus visits and well-developed events throughout the recruitment cycle. The Director will implement and revise data-driven methods to determine the effectiveness of efforts and prescribe continuing improvements to elevate the impact of the student experience pre-enrollment. The Director will work closely with members of the Enrollment Management Division and cultivate relationships across campus in pursuit of broadening campus appeal and student engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Sales, Marketing, Communication, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of event planning in a university environment or relevant university experience creation work.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience supervising permanent professional employees.
• Valid driver's license
• Demonstrated networking abilities
• Sales, marketing, and public speaking experience preferred
• Proven success in data-driven results in developing campus events and community engagement
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service with internal and external partners
• Demonstrated leadership skills
