Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you'll find our department, Control HW Technical Management, as part of Applications, Controls & Electrical<br/>
The Control Hardware Technical Management comprises a team of proficient and qualified senior functional leads who collaborate across various Projects and Technologies. This department is an integral part of the Control Hardware organization, responsible for delivering the turbine Hardware infrastructure encompassing Electronics, Cables, Sensors, Panels, and Power supplies. Our primary emphasis is on continuous enhancements and striving to optimize our workflow. The department amalgamates both Technology development and Project execution aspects.<br/>

Responsibilities<br/>
You will work closely with the Senior Functional Leads in the technical management team under the guidance of the Module Design Owner, as well as with your counter parts from adjacent modules and product architects.<br/>
As the Specialist – Systems Engineering, your responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Represent the module in the architecture development project </li>
<li>Ensure the integrity and stability of the architecture across product and module-level development projects (functions, requirements, interfaces, and configuration modules) </li>
<li>Engage in cross-product and module architecture community </li>
<li>Ensure generic architecture interface definitions, including criticality assessment </li>
<li>Drive modularization of design through the maturation of Modular Product Development relevant processes, tools, and metrics </li>
<li>Encourage and pioneer Modular Product Development knowledge through sufficient training and research</li>
</ul>

Qualifications</p>
<ul>
<li>A relevant educational background in Engineering along with min. 7 years of experience in the similar field</li>
<li>Engineering and architectural experience in product design</li>
<li>Knowledge of systems engineering principles, architecture frameworks, and engineering design processes </li>
<li>Prior experience in Modular Product Development</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience in developing reliability models</li>
</ul>

Additional information<br/>
Our preferred work location for this role is our office in Aarhus, Denmark.<br/>
Up to 20 travel days per year. <br/>
