Junior Accountant Specialist - UK Market

This role is based in Barcelona, Spain. The mission encompasses financial accounting and planning, monitoring and control, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and financial risk management. Furthermore, it involves optimizing financial processes to their fullest potential and offering support in decision-making.</p><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>🖥️</strong><strong> What you will do:</strong></p><ul> <li>Handle administrative and accounting tasks, including registration of invoices and bank reconciliation (sales and purchase ledgers)</li> <li>Chasing and following up on clients’ collections, managing account receivables and payables.</li> <li>Assist with day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions in our ERP system.</li> <li>Support the finance team with the preparation of financial reports and other administrative tasks as needed.</li> <li>Assist with general administrative duties across multiple departments and companies within the group.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>📌 Requirements:</strong></p><ul> <li>Proficiency in Spanish and English is essential (both written and spoken). Italian language skills are a plus but not mandatory</li> <li>1-2 years of experience in an accounting department or audit firm</li> <li>Knowledge of basic accounting principles and administrative processes</li> <li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems or similar accounting software is highly desirable (prior experience with Dynamics, Business Central, Spring, and/or Xero will be a plus)</li> <li>Additional Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
