Position Specific Description

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the profitability of our renewable portfolio by analyzing and optimizing the fleet's operations, producing and communicating independent analytical insights on expenses and site performance metrics which influence the P&L and developing appropriate visualizations and presentation materials to make such insights useful for management's decision-making. You will also perform the financial evaluation and business case development of O&M and capital investment opportunities, including financial due diligence, presentation of key investment benefits and risks to senior management.

Competencies include strong financial analysis skills, along with ability to demonstrate effective communication with internal and external customer groups to deliver results timely. MBA/CFA desired.
 

Job Overview

Employees in this role support the overall P and L management of one or more NextEra generating assets. This position support budgeting and forecasting, analyzing P and L variance, participating in ad hoc and special projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Completes financial, operational, or technical project analysis
• Conducts analyses regarding issues that have an impact on the operation of a specific functional area and makes recommendations to management
• Maintains project schedules and reviews documents for technical accuracy
• Performs ad hoc projects, report development, modeling, and other miscellaneous projects
• Oversees discretionary capital improvement or restructuring projects for generating assets
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 2+ years

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Master's - Business Administration
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
