DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The ideal candidate will provide internal logistics support through organized and timely scheduled and unscheduled logistics needs, primarily focused in coil storage areas 3 and 4, to meet the business goals of AM/NS Calvert. 

 

The Basics:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with developing, implementing, and evaluating a variety of Supply Chain Management/Logistics activities
• Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively work cross-functionally with various groups
• Proficiency in MS Office products

 

The Extras

• Working knowledge of SAP, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), & TWMS (Transportation Warehouse Management System) applications preferred
• Understanding of coil warehouse material flow a plus

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Management of Coil inventory and Accuracy
• Administers storage rules, stacking parameters, and administrative changes within TWMS client
• Monitors and implements improvements that drive storage efficiency.
• Works with Production Planning on incoming, outgoing, and aged material so that the Warehouse runs with limited delays
• Follows up on all discrepancies and messaging conflicts within the Warehouse
• Lead Safety Walks and layered evaluations Fulfills the commitment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Create and update work instructions for all ST3 and ST4 processes
• Implement and manage continual improvement projects
• Review Quality issues for improvement and accuracy

 

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Office and Industrial setting
• Gulf coast region in Calvert, AL
• Days, Monday to Friday with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads
