About the role
Bradley University invites applications for a dynamic and experienced Director of Graduate and International Admission to lead and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management, Marketing, and Communications, the Director will oversee the graduate and international admission team and develop strategic initiatives to drive enrollment. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a collaborative approach to engage prospective students and institutional stakeholders. Under the leadership of the Vice President, the Director of Graduate and International Admission will be a part of the Enrollment Leadership Team composed of the AVP for Enrollment Management, the AVP for Marketing and Communications, Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Director of Financial Aid, Director of Campus Experiences, and Director of Admission Technology. The Graduate and International Admission team processes applications for all graduate students (online, on-campus, domestic, international, non-degree), and recruits and processes all international students (first-year, transfer, graduate, and non-degree).

- In concert with the Vice President of Enrollment Management, Marketing, and Communications and Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management, directs the unit’s admission planning initiatives and establishes International and Graduate recruitment and enrollment goals
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Enrollment Management and AVP of Enrollment Management to develop and implement the institution's graduate application process for admission
- Collaborate with Enrollment Management leadership and campus partners on international admission strategies to meet enrollment goals
- Collaborate with all other directors within Enrollment Management on initiatives including communications, strategy, recruitment, events, staff training, and development
- Coordinate and potentially travel to support international recruitment
- Hire; train; and provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development for Graduate and International Admission staff.
- Provide training and materials to faculty and staff who work with the admission process.
- Admit and award scholarships to graduate and international applicants in accordance with federal, state, and institutional policies and procedures.
- Review and assess applications, including international credentials. Serve as Enrollment Management’s primary resource on foreign credential evaluation.
- Serve as an administrator for CRM - Slate, including assigning permissions, running queries, creating mailings, and processing applications
- Partner with graduate program coordinators, chairs, deans, administrative staff, distance education, and external partners to ensure accurate and timely exchange of information.
- Maintain working relationships and manage day-to-day work with current partners and agents at home and abroad. Assist with execution of new partnerships and payment verification for agents/commission
- Develop and implement policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and university policies
- In collaboration with Student Affairs, serve as either the university’s PDSO (Principal Designated School Official) or DSO in SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) and maintain knowledge and training of applicable immigration regulations
- Participate in the development or revision of all publications (website, college catalog, and other media) relating to graduate and international admission
- Analyze complex issues related to admissions technology and develop effective solutions to improve workflow and user experience

Skills and background of successful candidate:
- Required: a bachelor’s degree or the international equivalent.
- Experience in graduate admission, international admission, and/or graduate or international student services at a four-year college or university.
- Strong technological and analytical skills, as demonstrated by the development of successful strategies to recruit and enroll students.
- Exceptional cross-cultural communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience directly managing the work of full-time employees and leading a team to accomplish challenging objectives.
