Senior SRE Architect (Full Time; Multiple Openings)

Responsible for working with cross-functional teams to manage the product development for RingCentral's integration products to support our innovative communications platform.

To succeed in this role you must meet the following requirements:

• Provide leadership and expertise in the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns, and practices.

• Develop architectural design for multifunction system and their components.

• Work with teams to perform optimization techniques with the existing architecture.

• Research, test, and evaluate new technologies.

• Responsible for providing proof-of-concepts (POCs) and product implementation guidelines.

• Collaborate with and advise and mentor engineering teams.

• Build and architect high-load mission-critical systems at enterprise scale.

• Apply relational and non-relational database technologies such as Oracle and MongoDB.

Desired Qualifications:

• U.S. Master of Science degree or foreign academic equivalent degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Information Systems or related field plus two (2) years of relevant, progressive experience is required. U.S. Bachelor of Science degree or foreign academic equivalent degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Information Systems or related field plus five (5) years of relevant, progressive experience is also acceptable. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable.

• Experience with Oracle, MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Cassandra, VMWare, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, C++, Java, Go, and Python is required.
